Beginning Monday, January 25 the State will have a call center to register people for the vaccine. The automated response system number is 855-568-0545. Operators will be available from 8:00am – 8:00pm. Once registered, people who do not have computer capability will be notified by mail regarding their appointment.
The Middlesex County operated call center is available now at 732-745-3100. The call center is open Monday-Friday from 8:30am – 6:00pm and weekends from 9:00am – 3:00pm.

Those who reside, work or go to school in New Jersey are eligible to receive the vaccine at a NJ vaccination location. If you wish to receive the vaccine, you first need to register on the state site at https://covidvaccine.nj.gov.
You will receive a return email that CONFIRMS your registration. When an opening becomes available at one of the state vaccination sites, you will receive an email that lets you schedule an appointment at one of the available locations.

NJ Vaccine Locations listed by county: NJ is decentralizing vaccine distribution so this list will grow larger. Local pharmacies, supermarkets, etc will be able to administer vaccines once granted approval.
Effective 1/14/21 eligibility is as follows:
- Health Care Workers
- First Responders
- Long-term Care Residents
- Individuals aged 65 or older
- Individuals at High Risk *
*Individuals ages 16-64 with medical conditions, as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, that increase the risk of severe illness from the virus. These conditions include:
- Chronic kidney disease
- COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)
- Down Syndrome
- Heart conditions, such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, or cardiomyopathies
- Obesity (body mass index [BMI] of 30 kg/m2 or higher but < 40 kg/m2)
- Severe Obesity (BMI ≥ 40 kg/m2)
- Sickle cell disease
- Type 2 diabetes mellitus

NEED ASSISTANCE REGISTERING ON THE STATE VACCINATION WEBSITE? Staff members at the Library and Senior Center are available to help you register online at the state COVID-19 vaccine website and find vaccination locations. Please note, however, that they cannot schedule appointments. Call the Monroe Township Public Library at 732-521-5000 or the Senior Center at 609-448-7140 for assistance.
