We’re excited to welcome Asbury Park Library to the STELLA library system! During this transition, some library services will be temporarily limited from June 15 – 17. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to enhance and expand access across our shared library network. We expect all services to be fully restored on the morning of June 18.

Library Cards

During this time, please bring your physical library card with you when visiting the library. Patrons will be automatically logged out of the STELLA app during this transition.

We will be unable to:

  • Issue new library cards
  • Update existing library card accounts
  • Accept payments for lost items or fees
  • View the items currently checked out on your account

 

Catalog Access and Holds

  • New holds cannot be placed
  • No new hold requests will arrive during this period
  • If you have already been notified that a hold is available, you may still pick it up
  • The catalog may not accurately reflect item availability

 

Checkouts and Due Dates

  • Self-serve kiosks will be unavailable
  • You will need your physical library card to check out materials in the Library

  • Tonies
  • Tonie Boxes
  • American Girl Dolls
  • Launchpads

 

Program Registration

  • Online registration for library programs will not be available
  • Register for events and programs by visiting the Welcome Desk or calling 732-521-5000 x112

 

Study Room Reservations

  • Online reservations will not be available
  • Study room reservations can be made by visiting the Reference Desk or calling 732-521-5000 x118

 

Public Computers

  • Public computers and printing services will remain available by using a guest pass
  • Funds attached to library cards cannot be used for payment during this time

 

E Resources

  • Libby and Hoopla will be available to accounts created prior to 6/13/26
  • Other digital resources may not be available
