Monroe Market Overview
Due to the Market’s space restrictions (one-third of the Library parking lot), we are unable to accommodate crafters and nonprofit organizations (other than Township Commissions and the Monroe Food Pantry). Crafters are encouraged to apply for the Monroe Harvest Market scheduled for Tuesday, November 24, 2026. Applications will be available in mid-September.
Before submitting a Market application, please read the Market Guidelines for further information about inspections and insurance requirements. Note: Bakers must have a Commissary Letter from their commercial kitchen or a current NJ Cottage Food Operator’s Permit.
Our History
The Market began in 2022 as a joint effort between the Monroe Township Administration and the Monroe Township Library. Now entering its fifth season, the Market strives to provide Monroe residents with locally grown produce, baked goods, artisanal products, and other consumables (e.g.,
handmade soap, candles).
