Each month the library offers sewing classes for adults.

Meet Your Sewing Machine is an hour class where you will learn how to wind a bobbin, thread the needle and practice stitching on the library’s sewing machines.

Project classes are also offered where student bring their own material/supplies and the class makes a designated item.

If you are new to sewing, please plan to take one of the Meet Your Sewing Machine classes before signing up for a project class. If you have used a sewing machine before, you can simply sign up for a project class.

Registration for sewing classes opens each month on the first Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. for the following month’s classes. For example, registration for April sewing classes will open on the first Tuesday of March. To register, visit our online event calendar or call the Library.
