This designation means local library patrons will now have greater and more convenient access to the wealth of genealogical resources available through FamilySearch. Researchers will have free onsite access to more than two billion digitized records, including 400 million images that are not currently available to the public outside of an affiliate library or a FamilySearch center.
To gain access to restricted records, patrons must be inside the Monroe Township Library building, and utilize a Library desktop computer or a personal device connected to the Library’s Wi-Fi network. Users must create a free FamilySearch account at familysearch.org, or log in using existing account credentials.
Come visit and explore your family history today! If you have any questions, please ask the Reference staff.
