As a Monroe Library cardholder you have been assigned a PIN (Passcode). This number and your complete Library card number will allow you to place an item on hold, renew an item, check your library account and access other online resources. Your Library card number and PIN are unique numbers and should be protected as you would any personal passwords.
If you forgot or would like to change your PIN, you can do so following the directions below.

To reset your forgotten passcode from the Log in page
- In the upper-right section on the Vega Discover Catalog page, select Log in
- On the window that appears, select I forgot my passcode
- Follow the instructions to enter your email to be sent a password reset link
To change your passcode from your patron profile
- On My Bookshelf, select Profile
- Select Edit Profile
- Select Change Passcode
- In the Current Passcode box, enter your passcode
- In the New Passcode box, enter a new passcode (be sure to follow passcode requirements if present)
- In the Confirm New Passcode box, enter the new passcode again
- Select Change Passcode.
