It was established on Friday, October 30, that a Monroe Township Public Library employee, who last worked on Wednesday, October 28, was significantly exposed to a confirmed positive individual. The building was closed immediately as staff members and the public were notified. To date, there have been no positive cases at the library.
In the interest of public safety and in an effort to provide continued library services, the Monroe Township Public Library will resume limited services on Wednesday, November 4. At this time, Grab & Go service will be suspended until further notice. The Library will return to curbside only pickup. Visitors will not be able to enter the Library building. Computers, copiers, scanners will be unavailable.
The following Library services will be available:
- Curbside pickup service will have expanded hours. You will now be able to pick up your items at the Drive Thru window Monday through Thursday between 10am and 7:30pm and Friday through Saturday between 10am and 4:30pm.

- Library staff will continue to be available via phone, email and text to answer your questions (http://www.monroetwplibrary.org/contact/). The Library, in cooperation with Monroe Township, remains vigilant in our efforts to protect the health, safety and welfare of all township employees and residents as we see a resurgence in COVID-19 positive cases throughout the county, state and country.
