At the Monroe Township Public Library, we make every effort to help and support homeschool, remote or hybrid learning.
We welcome you to use our resources to supplement your studies, access educational material and attend educational programs. Library staff are on hand to guide you towards resources to support your curriculum.
Library Resources
Creative Bug – Creativebug.com has over 1,000 award-winning art & craft video classes taught by recognized design experts and artists which you can use to develop your child’s art curriculum. From learning how to knit or crochet for the first time to creating your own planner from scratch, you’re sure to find a new artistic endeavor to explore with your child.
eBooks & More – You, as a library card holder, have access to our various digital collections both through your home computers and mobile devices. From eBooks and audiobooks to movies and music, you have plenty of digital resources to enjoy from home. Visit our downloadable media page for more information.
The Great Courses – While these are college-level lectures, some homeschool parents like to use these as supplementary learning for their students. There is a wide range of subjects from which to choose.
Mobile Hotspots – No Internet at home? Borrow ours for: school papers and projects; job searching online, connecting your laptop or tablet. On a long car trip? Have the kids in the backseat streaming movies, music or other content. On vacation? Beach or mountain cabin with no Internet?
