The Monroe Township Library is currently seeking volunteers for its 2013 Math and Reading Partners program! Math and Reading Partners is a summer program for children finishing Grades K-7 Students are individually paired with an adult or high school volunteer from the community who will help them practice their math skills and/or reading skills over the summer months. The Friends of the Monroe Township Library will hold its Annual Book Sale beginning Saturday, April 27 through Thursday, May 2, where you can purchase gently used books and a limited selection of DVDs, audiobooks, and CDs at bargain prices! The book sale offers thousands of donated items including fiction hardcover and paperbacks, non-fiction, children’s books, movies, music, and audiobooks. Join us for a screening and post-film discussion about the STEM teacher shortage in America, the subject of The Learning , directed by Ramona Diaz .
