Searching Library Catalog

Go to the iBistro homepage.

Select Your Library: Click on the down arrow to the right of the word “Library”. Select “Monroe Township” if you want to limit your search to Monroe. Select “All” to search all libraries in the Catalog.

Enter your search terms in the box labeled "Search for" and then click on what type of search you would like to do:

  • Title: If you know the exact title of a book, click in the circle next to “Alphabetic search”, type your title in the search box, and click on the blue “title” tab.
  • Subject: Type your subject in the search box and then click the blue “subject” tab.
  • Author: Type the author’s name in the search box and click the blue “author” tab.
  • Keyword: A keyword search will search all of the words from a record. Use keyword search when you do not know the exact title of an item. Click in the circle next to the word “keyword”, type your keywords in the search box, and click on the blue “words or phrase” box.

View Records

Click on the blue “Details” tab next to the title of the item that you are interested in to find out where the item is located and if it is checked out to another patron.

Click on “New Search” on the blue bar at the top of the screen to look for another item. Click on “Search/Home” to return to the main search page.
