President's Greeting

I am delighted to report that we enjoyed another successful Annual Book Sale, thanks to all of the Friends who participated in making it happen.  We experienced a steady week long
response from the community, as well as the wonderful donations which were contributed in advance.  Thanks to the Library staff for its usual support.  We could not have done it
without any of you.  This is our largest fund raiser of the year and in view of the economy we were able to bank $6,000.  Thank you one and all.

A trip is planned for Sunday, July 12th to the Princeton University Art Museum.  If you have never been there, you should go.  If you have visited, you are aware that there is always
something interesting to see.  Complete details appear in another part of this Newsletter.

Annual membership renewal for the Friends of the Library is coming up shortly, so please
rejoin this year (if you have not already done so).  If you have a friend in the community who is having a birthday, it makes a wonderful gift, particularly now with our wonderfully
expanded  facility.

Thanks again for the generous response from all of you during our book sale.  We will
continue to provide more programs for your continued pleasure.

Sincerely,

Rhoda Schorr

Membership Renewal Time

Membership Form

It’s Time to RENEW Your Membership!

It’s that time of the year again! Time to RENEW your membership as a Friend of the
Library.  This year your RENEWAL will support our beautiful, expanded facility that is truly a community treasure.

The library is a place where we may read to our heart’s content, use the computer, and
peruse newspapers and magazines all in spacious and comfortable surroundings.  We may now
enjoy a cup of coffee in our new café and enjoy the lovely landscaping and gardens surrounding the library.  Remember, your membership dues pay for passes to the Grounds for Sculpture in      Hamilton, NJ, the Museum of Natural History in New York City,  the foreign film series as well as new DVDs and CDs.  When you RENEW your membership you provide money for many children’s programs, various media materials, exciting trips and informative speakers.

I hope that you will continue to support the library by RENEWING your membership.  I
encourage you to invite your friends and neighbors to join us as members of the Friends of the Library.  The community and the Library need you!

Helaine Evans
Membership Chairperson

Note: Please check the mailing label on the envelope containing your Friends Newsletter.  If an 08 or 09 appears, it is time to renew your membership.  If a 10 follows your address, thank you for renewing.
