Math and Reading Buddies Fall 2011

Now expanded to give help to students in grades 1-8!
 
Need community service hours or an after school activity? Volunteer as a tutor in the Math and Reading Buddies program!
 
Math and Reading Buddies individually pairs high school volunteers with students in grades 1-8 who need help building skills in math and/or reading. Buddies usually meet once a week during a ten week session, for 30 to 60 minutes each meeting. Buddies are matched based on mutual availability and make their own schedules. No experience is necessary to volunteer, you just have to be in high school, enjoy math or reading and working with kids.
